Junior Strength Camp

Junior Strength CampYouth ages 9-13 can come learn the basics of safe strength training during this 6–week training program. This class is lead by Stephen Morton, M.Ed, CSCS , strength coach and certified personal trainer for TSMC. Classes focus on sports specific movements, proper lifting techniques, spotting techniques, and overall gym safety. Participants will also be involved in plyometric training as well as speed, agility and speed-endurance training.

When: Mondays and Wednesdays
Time: 4:00-5:00 P.M.
Where: Texas Sports Medicine Center
Cost: $100.00 per attendee

Learn different power exercises:

  • Snatch
  • Hang Clean
  • Power Clean
  • Push Jerk

All exercises within the strength training class will simulate sport specific movements, which will transfer to better sport performance.
